The average cost of graduation for ninth-graders is 29 thousand rubles, TASS reports, citing a SuperJob survey. For 11th-graders, this amount reaches 39 thousand. Compared to last year, expenses have increased by 8% and 12%, respectively.
For parents of ninth-graders, graduation costs an average of 13 thousand rubles per child. In Moscow, this amount reaches 15 thousand rubles, and in St. Petersburg – 14 thousand rubles. For 11th-graders, the costs are significantly higher: in Russia, the average costs are 19 thousand rubles, in the capital – 23 thousand rubles, and in the city on the Neva – 21 thousand rubles.
A significant part of the budget is taken up by the purchase of outfits. For ninth-graders, clothes cost 16 thousand rubles, for graduates – 18.5 thousand. Girls spend 14.5 thousand in the 9th grade and 20.5 thousand in the 11th grade.
In St. Petersburg and Moscow, prices are higher than the Russian average. In the Northern capital, an outfit for a graduating boy costs 19.5 thousand, for a girl – 22 thousand. In Moscow, these amounts reach 21 thousand and 23.5 thousand rubles, respectively.
Earlier, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov proposed changing the format of school graduations . He advocated organizing the festivities directly in educational institutions. The leader explained that such an approach would protect teenagers from negative influences. In restaurants and cafes, they can observe adults drinking alcohol.
